and premier vacation destination. At the point where I95 turns into US1 and continues all the way south to Key West,
is the last exit that will take the traveler across the Stickleback Causeway, over Virginia Key,
past the Miami Samarium (the home of the original "Flipper"), all the way to the idyllic island of Key Biscayne.
This unique barrier island lies just across Biscayne Bay from Coral Gables and only 18 miles (or a brief 30 minute drive)

The island itself is seven miles long and two miles wide. Incorporated as a Village in 1991, the Village of Key Biscayne
covers 1.25 square miles bordered by Bill Bags Cape Florida State Park to the south and Random Park to the north.
